Project G.A.I.N. (PG) is transforming Washington Heights into a community action hub where people discover their gifts, develop their potential, and put both into action with real world experiences. A place to create hope.

Project: Our project is to revitalize a former segregated/integrated school and activate new land to create a connected indoor and outdoor (multi-purpose space) for wellness, art, culture, education.

Why It Matters: Washington Heights matter. We’re creating a permanent hub where we can plan, train, meet, create, store our tools and prepare for the work ahead. Here, people gain real-world experience-not simply learn about doing something but actually do it.
