The 2023 Excellence Awards banquet benefited the Hugo Boys Basketball program. Host emcee Willie Stewart and speaker Fred "Freddie Fri" Frierson kicked off the formal event as we took a moment to recognize community leaders and special honorees with the basketball class of '88/'89 (25-1). Awards, food, music and laughs were present.
